In the Abbey, classical
and sacred music concerts are periodically organised, theatre performances, art
laboratories, exhibitions, thematic evenings in the cloister or in the garden.
Moreover, all the Valnerina, from April to October is animated by celebrations,
fairs and tasting of typical products.

ABOUT THE REGION |

The Abbey is located inside the
Park of the Nera River, 13 km
away from the Marmore waterfalls,
a beautifull and vast region to explore.
The charming lake of Piediluco
is a well known training area for rowing and
canoeing. One can also choose a quiet ride in a
boat exploring the lake margins. Also there are numerous natural caves to visit
under the guidance of experts in
nearby the Marmore Waterfalls
an artificial work built by the Romans.
The Sibylline mountains offer an incomparable
scenery for hang-gliders. One can also try a
tandem flight together with an instructor.
Free climbing is practiced at
Ferentillo.
Horseback riding can be done in the woods of
the hill “La Somma”. Canoe, kayak, torrent
descent and hydro speed at the Waterfalls.
For those who like traditional sports olympic
pool, soccer, tennis and football can also be
practised at Arrone and Ferentillo. |
