Leaving behind Munich,
the renown metropolis of Bavaria, a surprise landscape paradise
enfolds, stimulating one's senses. Incomparable to anything else in
Germany, Upper Bavaria boasts an ever returning list of holiday
friends, appreciating nature and the abundance of leisure activities.
In the middle of this landscape paradise, one ventures across a real
Jewel, Murnau. Whether you are interested in sports, arts , culture,
nature-lover or beer-drinker, Murnau may entice you to stay much
longer. Originally passing through, three famous artists settled
down in Murnau and Kochel in the early 20th century. Gabriele Münter,
Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc founded the "Blauer Reiter" -
association, drawing inspiration from the multifaceted landscape.
Their famous works of art can be admired in the museums of Murnau
and Kochel. With excitement one recognises the original settings of
these paintings, as it is today still founded in Murnau and in its
surroundings |
