"We had a great time at the hotel - the room was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the location was unbeatable. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.
The only issue, that has nothing to do with the hotel, is that finding it in Cordoba is very tricky. It would help if the signs and directions were clearer, and that there was something that marked the entrance to the hotel clearer. We drove to Cordoba and we had a hard time finding the hotel."

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, and we found the staff to be extremely efficient and helpful. In particular, they were put to the test when my engagement ring accidently went down the plughole in the bathroom.
I called reception, and they had a plumber/handyman to the room within a minute. Fortunately, after some time searching in the bathroom drain hole which was not a pleasant job, they found my ring. They were all very kind."

"My comments are:
On the positive side:
- The hotel is very central and well situated for all the major sites in Cordoba
- It is very comfortable (huge room!) and well maintained
- It is very beautifully converted from the old palace
On the less positive side:
- It is extremely difficult to find - knowing that hotels in the middle of old city centres can be difficult to find, I emailed the hotel in advance to ask for directions (we were arriving by car). The directions were very poor (although they were in English because I do not, sadly, speak spanish!) and it took us a good hour or so to eventually find the hotel. Once you know where you are going, it is relatively simple to get to - although not the way the instructions suggested.
- The staff were OK, but not particularly helpful or friendly - but did speak good English, for which we were very grateful!
- The service at breakfast was poor - only seemed to be one girl on duty & food ran out quickly at the buffet & it took some time to get coffee, tea etc.
- The lounges etc lacked character - nice patio though."

"We were very pleased with our stay in Cordoba recently. Our only criticism would be that the staff at the front desk was a little disorganised and checking in was quite chaotic and it seemed needlessly long. We do travel a lot and can speak from experience. I think at the time there was a trainee staff member assisting as well and she was of no use at all. Perhaps you need more staff to help at the front desk at these times. This would be our only criticism, as otherwise our room and the service at breakfast were all excellent."

"Our stay at the NH Amistad in Cordoba was a very pleasant one.
The size of the room was quite limited; however there was a door opening
onto an orange tree garden that was delightful.
The service in the interior main patio was notably absent. We had to
wait a considerable time & go looking for a waiter to order a glass of wine in the late afternoon. Otherwise good service. Nice breakfast. Great room decor!"

"Our stay at the NH Amistad was generally excellent. The room accommodations and the public areas are very well appointed and comfortable and in all respects met or exceeded expectations. Front desk personnel were courteous and helpful. Location is excellent. Although they have an on-premises under-ground garage, it is accessed through very narrow alleys and has an awkward approach angle for both entry and exit. As with most such parking accommodations, they are of minimal size and are challenging to access."

"The only thing I wish to say is that we came back extremely happy for the way we were received and treated during the three days of our visit. The personnel were very kind and helpful, the room was excellent and the restaurant and breakfast were of high standard. We came back really very happy and are prepared both to come back again, if the opportunity arises, and to recommend to friends wishing to visit your beautiful city."
