There are so many options that it's hard to decide where to start! You can discover the inner and outer city lake Alster by the traditional "Alster ferry", see people taking a walk on the banks. You can explore Hamburg’s harbour with a boat trip, getting an idea of the true maritime and cosmopolitan flair. Or you do it like the locals: just enjoy the wonderful views! Hamburg has more than 50 museums, quiet a lot for only one visit. We gladly recommend some of the highlights! The "Hamburger Kunsthalle" shows one of the most important German art collections. The "Bucerius Kunstforum" is famous for its regularly changing exhibitions.
Who is interested in the history and tradition of Hamburg itself as commercial town and Hanseatic city should visit the "Spice Museum" and the "International Maritime Museum". Another highlight: the "Miniatur Wunderland" shows everything in a tiny size - from the harbor to the airport.

The Hotel Atlantic Kempinski is the perfect starting point for an extensive shopping marathon. The most famous and exclusive shopping streets like "Neuer Wall" and "Jungfernstieg" are only a few minutes away. No question, "Sankt Pauli" is the world’s most famous red-light district with its "Reeperbahn", its "Herbertstraße" and the "Große Freiheit" - a MUST for every visitor, though its sinful reputation abroad no longer tells the whole story. Enjoy the unlimited range of entertainment: from Variety theatres to live music and electronic music temples – Sankt Pauli is home for all types and tastes.
