Located in a strategic location on the ancient "Aurélienne"
road, lies the Auberge des Adrets nestling in the
heart of the National Park of the Estérel. The Auberge des Adrets, an old XVII century staging
post, is sheltered by its ancient old trees and surrounded by a park
that boasts olive, apple and orange trees as well as lavender and jasmine.
Beautifully renovated, traditional in style, offers bright,
cosy, well-furnished bedrooms in soft blues and with
limestone-rendered walls, where charm, luxury and tranquillity are
perfectly blended to ensure an unforgettable romantic stay. In this
spectacular ancient Chateaux, Auberge des Adrets, you can relax and spend pleasant,
truly restful, typically Provencal moments in the lounge
bar, which lies in the shade of the century old platens or enjoy
delightful, gourmet meals, created following the rhythm of the seasons,
with the attention of a warm, friendly staff, there to guarantee magic
feelings.
For a great many years the Auberge des Adrets was known as Post House and named : "Logis de l’Estérel".
If the Auberge des Adrets reminds us mostly of the feats and deeds of Gaspard de Besse, symbolizing around his personality the
entire banditry of the Esterel area, we should also remember that its walls echoed religeous songs from the Provence pilgrims on
their way to the Lérins monastery. The earliest citations of a stopover at the "Logis de l’Esterel" date back to the year 824,
when the Prior of the Lérins monastery spent money on a meal at the Auberge.
Such long past historical experience still impregnates the "Auberge des Adrets". Il also revigorates this very much alive and
attractive mythical site. One cannot enter into this house and remain indifferent.
From the Auberge des Adrets, you can easily travel around and cover the area from St Tropez to Monaco. The coastal
zone as well as the hinterland offer a multitude of activities to the visitors, with the ability to satisfy everyone.
