Hotel Augustus Lido is part
of a group of three properties being the oldest dating back to the 50’s.
By that time, the Augustus Lido was the former beach villa of the
Pesenti family, one of the wealthiest families in Italy. Later in the
60’s, the Hotel Hermitage was built, and the former beach villa of the
Agnelly family (owners of FIAT) was purchased to be converted into what
is today the Augustus Lido.
The Augustus Lido is the part of the hotel Augustus closest to the sea. Formerly
the holiday residence of the Agnelli family, this charming villa
features its original decoration and antique furniture. It has been
completely refurbished but it still keeps the exclusive and welcoming
atmosphere of an elegant mansion. There are 19 rooms, where 3 rooms only
(2 standard and 1 superior) located on the third floor have sea view.
Finally, the Lido is linked to the Augustus private
beach by an underground passage and includes a large garden and covered
parking. |
