Relais Borgo San Pietro is a
charming Hotel with outdoor swimming pool; it’s composed of 14 rooms
(standard and superior) and 4 apartments. It’s a fully-restored farm
house from the 17th Century and it’s situated on the pleasant hillside
of San Pietro a Cegliolo with the stunning Val di Chiana plain spread
out below. The rooms and the apartments are spacious and bright, perfect
for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Each apartment has a private
outdoor area with table and chairs that is delimited by hedges and
shading arbours to guarantee guests’ privacy.
The five-year restoration project has succeeded in reviving the antique
magnificence of the hotel and its surrounding village, emphasizing its
traditional characteristics, such as the stone façade, the interior
beams, the cotto pavements and the fire places made of serena stone.
Outside, the little alleys from the farm buildings lead to the swimming
pool, the wonderful arcade of the 1600's and an antique well which
embellishes the courtyard. |
