Just across the road from Relais Borgo Santo Pietro the legendary chapel of San Galgano, built in 1185 in honour of the Tuscan nobleman, is today one of the most important historical buildings in Italian heritage.
The temple has now been officially opened to weddings of non-Italian residents and provides an ideal setting for a Catholic marriage ceremony.
