The
Buenavista Hotel was built in 1899 and refurbished into a four star
hotel, exactly one hundred years later. It lies in 15.730 square metres
of beautiful land overlooking the Natural Park of El Montgó. The
original main building date from the late 19th century has been declared
a protected building. The Buenavista comprises three acres of parkland
full of centennial chestnut trees, palms, pine and orange trees. All the
Buenavista Hotel is surrounded by vineyards, and with the coastline at
eyesight. Refurbishing the house has surely not been cheap: wood
ceilings, art nouveau furniture, beautiful gardens, etc. The building is
three stories high ground, first and second floor. Bedrooms are
extremely well fitted including extra long bed, which is something very
rare to find in Europe, a safe deposit box in each room where you can
fit a lap top and a Jacuzzi tub in every bathroom. Size of the rooms may
be a bit too small but if you get one with a terrace, chances are you
won’t feel tight in the room. The Suite Royal of Buenavista Hotel is in
a separate building in front of the house. There is a jogging trail in
the property Buenavista and a nice pool, one of those with water right
to edge kind of overflowing. |
