Ca’ Pisani Hotel is a herald of the new Venetian élan, reflecting the ancient republic’s many layers of time. Quartered in a revived merchant’s townhouse some 500 years old, the hotel’s elegant interior maintains its noble history while absorbing influences from the Futurist movement of the Thirties and Forties. Artworks by Fortunato Depero are on show throughout the hotel, and the Futurist theme is continued into the hotel's restaurant, La Rivista. Here, sparkling blue “starlight” tables underscore an easy-going atmosphere, where guests can enjoy delicious local dishes with a contemporary edge, and thoughtfully selected Italian wines. In the guestrooms, original beds and accessories from the same period, personally collected from across Italy by the Serandrei family, add authenticity and a unique touch to a hotel brimming with remarkable details. Ca' Pisani Hotel stands in the large, bright street which connects the Accademia bridge to the Zattere, in the Dorsoduro area, always considered the artists' district. The hotel is very well connected to Saint Mark's either by walking, or by boat (just 5 minutes), but at the same time is located outside the stream of tourists visiting the venetian main attractions.
