Two
sister properties in the old town Granada, namely, Hotel Carmen de Santa
Ines and Palacio de Santa Ines. Both were house built several centuries
ago which have been converted into hotels. The ownership being the same
accounts we must say for the flair of decoration being also equal in the
two buildings, lots of antiques in every room, some of them actual
treasures.
The two hotels are only a couple a blocks away one from another, there
is no elevator in any one of them and the only meal served is breakfast.
There are lots restaurants and snack bars very close by and being ring
in the center of Albamancin, the traditionally old Arab sector, you can
almost walk to the Alhambra. As a matter of fact it shoudn’t take more
than 20 minutes walking.
From some the rooms you can see magnificent Alhambra building, at night
is quite a sight.
Is important to mention that if you arrive here by car be prepared for
some real narrow street driving, to the point of having to bend in the
rear view mirrors in you car.
