Hotel Castel Fragsburg is a hunting lodge from over 400 years ago nestled in the mountains with an spectacular view of the city of Merano and the valley full of plantations of all kinds, specially vineyards and apple trees. The Hotel Castel Fragsburg has eighteen comfortable rooms divided into two floors of the ancient hunting lodge building and a cottage on the down slope of the property, which is completely independent from the hotel building. Most of the rooms have nice balconies and quite a few enjoy the wonderful view of the city and valley. The owner of the hotel really runs the place impeccably which is something anyone can immediately appreciate upon arriving. 
Prices of Castel Fragsburg, particularly with the dinner included (half board), are reasonable, but they don’t accept credit cards, so be sure to have cash on hand at check out time.
