Castelletto di Montebenichi dates back to the XIII century and is
still immersed in the day life of the small village of Montebenichi.
This village sits a top a hill at 510 Mts. above sea level and is
surrounded by a beautiful and unspoiled natural environment, in the
very heart of Tuscany, at the south-eastern border of the Chianti.
It dominates a valley called Valdambra, which has preserved the
integrity and beauty of its territory. It is a peaceful and
productive landscape with woods, vineyards, olive trees and active
wildlife, scattered with villages and castles, and at every turn a
splendid panoramic view. Aiming to create a comfortable family
atmosphere, the owners restored this small castle to become a tiny
hotel. In addition to the bedrooms and suites attentively and
individually furnished with every modern comfort (all of them are
air conditioned), guests may enjoy the common living rooms. They may
chat, read, and listen to music or simply rest among antique
furniture and precious ancient paintings and objects from the owners'
antiques private collection. Outdoors they may go to the private
park where the swimming pool overlooks the beautiful valley. |
