The
Chalet du Mont d'Arbois is set high above Megève, which is a
summer resort
amid forests, foothills, and mountain streams. But it's better known in
winter as a cosmopolitan ski resort, with more than 290km (180 miles) of
downhill runs plus nearly 81km (50 miles) of cross-country trails.
The village, with
its turreted houses gathered around a 17th-century church, suggests what
Megève looked like at the turn of the 21th century.
The Mont díArbois
chalet includes 23 rooms and one apartment, where the Baronne Nadine de
Rothschild gave great attention to room decoration, creating them all
differently. Cameos of cashmere fabrics and austrian style furniture offer
the luxury of a 4-star hotel for the comfort of its customers.
The kitchen's
warmth, authenticity of Emmanuel Horclois products, from Lyon and formerly
at the Bocuse cuisine. In the dining room, Patrick Lapertot watches over
the operation of irreproachable, attentive service.
In addittional, the chalet also has private golf course, skiing, «indoor-outdoor»
pool, spa and beauty studio.
