The history of Château de Candie dates back to the 14th century when it was built as a fortress by Knights returning from the Crusades. This 14th century fortified house, built in the form of a square, has been witness to many eras in the history of France. Château de Candie now serves as a superb hotel which offers a high standard of comfort to its guests it a fine Savoyard architecture undiminished by the years.
It is a connoisseur’s paradise, filled with priceless antiques and collections of paintings. The interiors are classic in their design, featuring wood panelling.
