Chateau de Canisy, is an
enchanting place to be....There are no place like this one...A certain
magic shines over this chateau. It has been in
the same family ever since its creation in the twelve century. Today is
owned and managed by Comte Denis de Kergorlay, who being the oldest male
in the family, inherited from his father according to the aristocratic
tradition. Comte Denis was the first to decide opening the chateau as a
private chateau receiving guests. Chateau de Canisy
is absolutely magnificent, even pictures are not enough to describe it.
The Chateau can host from 2 to 50 sleeping guests and up to 80 guests
for banqueting. Canisy is the prefect location for private events such
as family gathering, anniversaries, weddings…. It also proposes
“exclusive” rental from 20 guests, so that they are just by their own,
with and incredible “privacy”. Each room is different and there are no
set prices . At Chateau de Canisy
one can enjoy the splendor of the true “Vie de chateau” and feel at home.
They simply try to give you the best room available, subject to
availability.
Ideally located in the heart of an historical and cultural area (Bayeux
Tapissery, Caen - Guillaume le Conquérant city, the DDBeaches, le Mont
Saint Michel) Canisy is a perfect "home" to sight around during the day,
and enjoy the "familiar" atmosphere at the end of the day. They also
have a privileged partnership with the Omaha Beach Golf course (the only
one to have 27 holes in the area), where you will be hosted as a VIP.
