Chateau de Fources is a
castle reshaped over the centuries and at the same time intimate and
magnificent, set in the unique surroundings of the round walled town of
Fourcès, the jewel of Gascony.
Inside, there is a large sitting room with billiard table, big soft
armchairs for reading and resting, a small lounge with a bar in stone
for refreshments, and the old press-house room which gives out onto the
terrace, the pool and the children's pool. The rooms, beautiful and
bright, are lit up by huge mullioned windows. All decorated differently,
they respect the prestigious architecture of the past while enjoying the
comfort of modern times. A river flows gently past
the chateau's front. Nearby, tennis, fishing, hunting, 18 hole golf
course, horse-riding... And all around the incredible wealth and
diversity of the Gascon heritage.
Each room is fitted with a bath or shower room, a direct telephone and
television. Breakfast can be taken in your room, in the dining room or
on the terrace, by the pool. |
