Chateau d'Isenbourg is a lovely property less than an hour from Strasbourg right in the middle of some of the most wonderful vineyards of the famous Alsatian white wines. You have to drive through them, to get to the chateau, which is up on the hill. The building is an authentic fairy tale style chateau and although they kept the inside structure and layout, the rooms are all fitted with modern comfort, maintaining the fabulous ambiance. The Chateau d'Isenbourg, among its many amenities, counts a a beautiful inside swimming pool and Jacuzzi, with a panoramic glass wall that lets you enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the vineyards. This can be particularly breathtaking in winter, when you are inside this Jacuzzi, big enough for six people if not more, all looking out over the vineyard hills covered with snow, and you are immersed in the bubbling hot water of the spa! There is also a wonderful restaurant located in an XIIIth century vaulted hall, which is absolutely gastronomical. Californian essential oil massage

This massage, which is carried out on a table, consists of long, fluid, balanced movements which cover the whole body (effleurage, smoothing and sliding pressure). This is a "classic" or "sensory" massage which brings a sense of well being to the body and mind.
20 to 90 minute session.

A taste of Alsace massage

Chocolate is known for its healing and anti-oxidant effects on the skin, and it also relaxes muscles. Its velvety texture creates a heady, luxurious massage which is more intense than a treatment using oil.
35 minute session.

Our speciality: traditional Thai massage

Traditional Thai massage is one of the discipline's great ancestral traditions, with techniques dating back more than 2,000 years.  This method is inspired by Buddhism, and stimulates dynamism and the body's energy circulation to free tensions, resulting in a profound state of relaxation. The massage therapist follows the paths of the ten main energy meridians recognised in acupuncture. The result on the body is deep and long-lasting, and can be extremely stimulating or extremely relaxing according to the intensity of the treatment.

Traditional Thai massage

Traditional Thai massage, which is carried out on the floor, without oil, combines muscle kneading, thumb pressure on energy points and meridians and numerous yoga-inspired stretching techniques. Thai massage is one of the "energetic" group of massages. It is suitable for those who do not suffer from any particular medical conditions.
30 to 150 minute session.

Thai essential oil massage

The treatment is carried out on a massage table. It has similar effects to traditional Thai massage on energy meridians and points, but uses sliding movements with essential oils. The massage is slow and deep. It combines pressure techniques and smoothing of the energy meridians with stretching techniques. Our oil massages are carried out using natural, very high-quality Thai products produced by Harnn & Tann.

One of the most attractive towns in Alsace, Colmar is filled with medieval and early Renaissance buildings, with half-timbered structures, gables, and gracious loggias. Tiny gardens and washhouses surround many of the homes. Its old quarter looks more German than French, filled with streets of unexpected twists and turns. As a gateway to the Rhine country, Colmar is a major stopover south from Strasbourg. Near the vine-covered slopes of the southern Vosges, it's the third-largest town in Alsace.
Colmar has been so well restored that it's Alsace's most beautiful city, far more so than Strasbourg. While walking its streets, you'll find it hard to tell that Colmar was hard hit in two world wars.
