Combining enchantment, glamour and romance

Anchored in the heart of Gevaudan, between Aubrac and Margeride, since the nineteenth century, ‘Le Château-Hôtel d’Orfeuillette’, a charming hotel, boasting its very own orange grove, reflects a certain contemporary style. Renovated in 2010, each of its rooms leads you on a poetic journey - glamorous, classy and memorable. And the craziest thing of all? You can, with just a simple nod of the head, buy any of the furniture in the rooms that takes your fancy: a lamp, a vase, a mirror, a bed - as you wish! You will be able to bask in sheets made of satin and cotton by the famous Venetian house of textiles, Rubelli, who dressed none other than Pope Benedict XVI!

Bordered by a park of 12 hectares, this château, with its deep history and contemporarily designed rooms is both seductive and spectacularly luxurious. It is set in the most exquisite of surroundings, with landscaped gardens and free-roaming animals - a true pearl of nature.

Located on the outskirts of Auvergne and Languedoc Roussillon, the Brunel establishments enjoy a vast area just waiting to be explored! Le Théophile

Intimate, subdued lighting, finely decorated - you are in the heart of ‘Le Château d’Orfeuillette’ and it is a gourmet delight. A true gastronomic feast, ‘Le Théophile’ has plenty of space with its 30 settings, and flavours and tastes to spoil your senses.

Orchestrated by the chef, the menu is composed of the finest regional products and put together with sublimely perfect technical mastery.

A gourmet feast of locally-procured, organic foods

‘Le Théophile’ works in unison with nature and the environment in which it stands. It is for this reason that it decided to work mainly with organic and locally selected produce. 80% of its menu offers regional products and almost 100% is derived from local and organic sources.

Aubrac beef, trout tartare from Langlade, lamb from Lozère - the chef offers you dishes typical of the surrounding area. A menu of meticulously selected wines will delight lovers of great vintages.

The Chef

After a journey throughout Lozère –  ‘Château de la Caze’, ‘Grand Hôtel de la Muse’, ‘Le Domaine de Barres’ – our young chef, Julien IZARN, has laid down his hat for the new season at ‘Le Château d’Orfeuillette’. It is from this region, rich in quality products, that he draws his inspiration when creating his seasonal menus.

Please fill this form for individuals or for groups and you shall receive an answer written by a live person at Chateau d'Orfeuillette. This is the only way you can know exactly what room types are available for the dates you want, and the best possible rate, because you are dealing directly with the hotel.
Bear in mind that websites set up to give an automatic answer, work with allocated quotas given by the hotel, therefore when it appears there are no rooms available for the date you want, this is not necessarily true, because they never allocate ALL the rooms to third parties.
