For a really amazing stay at Saint Paterne, we offer you to stay in the orangerie.
Located 50 meters away from the chateau, this new suite offers one of the best view of the park, the chateau and the swimming pool.
This large suite (55 square meters) is decorated with a beautiful 19th century stage set, a greenery framed by an old gate opening on an imaginary park, which came from the Barcelona theater.
The monumental wood bed is flanked by two old stone cutter's blocks serving as night stands, the bathroom is a mezzanine overlooking the bedroom. It's lime green patina and jacuzzi bathtub mounted on a platform give the room a dramatic flair.
The heated floors, the high windows of the original orangerie and the extraordinary dimensions of this room make it truly unique.

In the midle of the park, we built a datcha in larch wood with private sauna and jacuzzi on the outdoor deck.
Offer the dream of an escape for those who want to suspend time and reconnect with the imaginary, that is our idea!
We wanted to create a charming nest for a dream holiday in nature. The datcha has large windows all along the walls, covered with shutters that rise vertically by a system of ropes and pulleys. During the day, doors can be open onto the terrace, then life happens mainly outsidem the contact with nature is total. And off through the trees we distinguish the silhouette of the Renaissance château.
At night, everything closes: the datcha becomes intimate and warm. A cocoon of wood stuck in the middle of nature, it feels hidden and protected. The stove is ready to be turned on, with a wood fire crackling in the room.
Amenities: double bed, 1 single bed, shower, sauna, outdoor Jacuzzi, TV, DVD, stereo, telephone, safe, courtesy tray.
Château de Saint Paterne, could have been designed with beautiful events in mind when it was first built, over five hundred years ago. The house itself is nestled on 25 acres parkland, with a heated pool, and many different outdoor activities, and, inside, the elegance and style of the rooms is simply elegant and charming. But Saint Paterne has so much more to offer than its surroundings.
As a privately owned, Charles-Henry and Ségolène de Valbray have an attention for details. There are no 'set packages', each event is truly bespoke. We can arrange diners up to 70 people with candle lights all around, lunches or brunches. You wish music, photographer, florist arrangement, hairdresser; we will only recommend people we know and appreciate for their quality of work.
