It was in 1919
when Don Agustín, VI Count of the la Corte de la Berrona,
decided to become a cattle dealer when he bought, at age 24,
the Marquise Tamaron’s widow cattle ranch. At that moment,
the Conde de la Corte cattle ranch was born, descendant of
the prestigious and influential cattle ranch of Vistahermosa,
with the eagerness to go deep in the three basic
characteristics of the brave bulls: trapio (elengace),
fierceness and nobility.
The habitual house of Don Agustín soon became the meeting,
discussion and promotion center of the bullfighting world in
the XX century. This is why Miura, Ponce, Mint, Vitorino and
some other prestigious names baptize the rooms of this
remodelled palace.
Don Agustín María de Mendoza y Montero de Espinosa, VI Count
of the Corte de la Berrona, was born in Zafra in March of
1895.
To keep the spirit of the cattle dealer this magnificent
space has been remodelled, that maintains and impels the
region’s bullfighting world and its a perfect corner for
calmness, the gatering and the rest. We have taken to the
present date a space with history, past and future,
intending to offer a kind place, as open as it is exclusive:
the perfect point of gathering between our wishes and yours. |
