A three star hotel in the
upper part of the city, renovated in 2003. Very comfortable rooms,
particularly the suites are a give away for the price: A standard double
room with a king bed with a separate small living room, with a TV set in
each room.
This hotel if you don't know it, most probably, it would not be the one
to choose off a list because you would think is just a three star not
centrally located... But it is an excellent hotel, with all modern
confort, reasonably priced, and very well situated away from downtown
noise and at the same time, walking distance to the core of the city. In
less than 15 minutes walking you can be right in Paseo de Gracia and
while you get there you will be passing by many, many interesting shops
and restaurants. Then at night, when you don't want to go to far for
dinner, there are a few good restaurants not more than two blocks away
that surely will more than please you for less than you planned to spend
on dinner. An excellent choice for example, would be "La Bodega" they
serve typical Catalonian food (have to reserve because it is always
full.) Another tip for less fancy but very good, is El Pescadito, ask at
front desk for directions to both. |
