The Hotel Covo dei Saraceni is located in Positano, exactly on a marvellous
rock with a splendid sea
view, being the ideal refuge of those who land here and wish to immerse
themselves in the splendid colours of the Amalfi Coast.
You'll find the rambling yellow-ochre Covo dei Saraceni's building, a former fisherman's home,
a few steps above the port and immediately above the beach.
The side
closest to the water culminates in a rounded tower of rough-hewn stone,
which makes for an appealing view. The guest rooms range from medium-size
to spacious, most with views over the water. They are full of light, where the night enlightens with lunar shades: the
sun and the moon here meet each other along a plane of different materials
- earth and water run after one another, from the wooden furniture to the
earthenware floors and the windows which embrace the blueness of the sea.
By the way, there is a balcony facing the sea, and the sea warming the light
tissue of fresh and winding materials - curtains, cushions and linen
cloths laying on low and tinkling tables.
Here, in front of the immensity and charm of one of the most beautiful
spots on the Mediterranean, it is still possible meet up with mystery
and vividness of Positano's people, for a holiday and an experience you
will never forget... |
