Place De l'Eglise 84410 Crillon-le-Brave − France
Hotel Crillon le Brave is a relaxed and informal refuge where you can enjoy all of the simple pleasures of Provence. Located about 25 miles northeast of Avignon, our 36-bedroom 5-star hotel is perched on top of a tiny hill village surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The views from our rooms, terraces and gardens are stunning.
Most people who visit Crillon le Brave understand that one of the best things about being here is NOT having lots of things to do! The best days are often ones spent lazily exploring the Provencal art de vivre by sitting in a café in a nearby village watching the world go by. But for those who like a bit more structure to their day, we have prepared a series of great cycling, walking and driving excursions from the hotel.
The half-day and whole day driving trips take in all of the main Provencal sites, from Châteauneuf du Pape and its vineyards, to Orange and Vaison la Romaine and their Roman antiquities, to trendy (and busy!) Gordes and the Lubéron. And of course, the bigger interesting cities of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence are both well worth a visit. Our concierge have these routes and will help you plan your day to include visits to these areas.
For the more energetic, we have prepared a collection of great cycling and walking routes out from the hotel to discover the nearby countryside. There are options for all levels of effort from a gentle stroll around the village to a cycle ride up nearby Mont Ventoux. Pick your own level of engagement!
Of course, there are also a host of other activities that are easily accessible from Crillon le Brave and can be arranged by our reception team. There are good golf courses nearby, tennis courts at hand in the village, horse-back riding on Mont Ventoux, kayaking on the Sorgues river, a tree-top walk at nearby Mormoiron, and much more.

Restaurant La Table du Ventoux is at the heart of Hotel Crillon le Brave’s culinary offering. No visit to the hotel would be complete without an evening meal on the main terraces of the hotel or in its vaulted dining room.

The Restaurant is open every evening and dinner is served from 19h15 to 21h30. A more informal lunch is served in Bar La Grange every afternoon.
The principal menus are the four-course Menu de Saison, the seven-course Menu du Chef tasting menu, and each month, Jérôme creates a further menu dedicated specifically to the produce most perfectly in season at that time. A la carte dining is also possible. To learn more about these menus and see a selection of sample dishes, click here.
The wine list focuses on wines from the Rhône Valley and Provence and includes excellent local Ventoux vintages as well as some of the finest old bottles of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and further afield, Côte Rôtie and other gems from the northern Rhône.
Our sample wine list includes over 170 producers and over 600 different references, mainly from the surrounding Rhône Valley. This includes some great Ventoux wines (note: our Bistrot 40K specialises in this!) as well as the finer appellations in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the syrah-based wines of the northern Rhône. The southern Rhône is known for its outstanding and reasonably-priced red wines, (principally based on Grenache cépages) but excellent white and rosé wines can be found throughout the region.
Nearby Rhône wines like Gigondas, Vacqueyras and Beaumes de Venise have caught the imagination of wine writers and connoisseurs around the world in recent years and Crillon le Brave is a shop window for everything that is best in the Côtes du Rhône and the rest of southern France.
In addition to our wine selection, we have a broad range of local drinks including perennial favourites such as Bardouin pastis, Marc de Châteaunneuf du Vieux Télégraphe, and Manguin absinthe and a variety of fruit-based eaux-de-vie.
Please fill this form for individuals or for groups and you shall receive an answer written by a live person at Hotel & Spa Crillon le Brave. This is the only way you can know exactly what room types are available for the dates you want, and the best possible rate, because you are dealing directly with the hotel.
Bear in mind that websites set up to give an automatic answer, work with allocated quotas given by the hotel, therefore when it appears there are no rooms available for the date you want, this is not necessarily true, because they never allocate ALL the rooms to third parties.
