Danieli Hotel was built in the 14th
Century as
the home of Doge Dandolo, this hotel has been masterfully restored
to set the
European standard for hospitality at its best and added two new side
buildings that are across
small canals.
Only steps away from the Piazza San Marco,
overlooking Venice harbour,
this beautiful palace could
not ask for a better position.
Being a Venetian Gothic landmark, is decorated with pink marble, stained glass,
gold leaf columns and antiques, including cherub frescoes in the ceilings.
Its glittering lobby with its atrium of staircases and six foot tall
chandeliers, can take anybody's breath away. Its
rooms are stylishly decorated with classical elegance, and
equipped with comfortable
furnishings. They gracefully reflect the warmth and rich cultural
heritage of Venice, and some enjoy a stunning
view of the lagoon. Complementing all the above is
its charming rooftop openair restaurant, which serves
delectable Mediterranean and regional cuisine with the captivating panorama view of the Canal Grande, and on the horizon the Lido
Island and the Adriatic Sea as background. Definately there is no better
location from which to enjoy the Romance of this beautiful and unique city. |
