Everyday life often forces us to try to be very purposeful and put things through no matter what it takes.
In SUP-Yoga, we get to know the opposite: to be soft and open, to remain in the flow with our constantly changing environment and not to fight against something, but find inner balance. At the same time the depth muscular and the strength coming from our center is trained.
Our SUP-Yoga is aimed at both beginners and advanced learners and does not require any prior knowledge.
Located next to the historic stairwell and the library, the central Bel Etage Salon is the perfect location for cocktail receptions or private dinners, small meetings or press conferences. The reception rooms of the former Danish embassy were located here, and today
original 1940’s lights still remain.
It is a particularly elegant setting, with almost five-metre high ceilings, a 50m² terrace, and quaint details such as an original Man Ray photograph. SO Berlin Das Stue has basic technical equipment; additional equipment can be arranged.
The Private Dining Salon, with a size of 45m² adorned with original photographs by André Rival, is the perfect venue for exclusive events and dinners of up to 30 guests.
With unique views of the ostriches, emus, and antelopes of the Berlin Zoo, this salon creates an extraordinary yet intimate atmosphere for private lunches, dinners and meetings.
In the historical front building, each level has an expansive landing (an anteroom between the staircase and guestroom corridor) whose detailing reveals the building’s grand history. Elegant original parquet floors, French doors, restored hardware and streaming light are contrasted with Patricia Urquiola’s eyecatching, comfortable seating arrangements – making this a staircase-turned-three-story library featuring an array of books on the topics of art, architecture, creative culture, and (befitting a zoo) animals. Craftwork, photos and Cajons from Panama give a definitive splash of vivid colours to the third floor.
All floors provide an ideal setting for coffee or tea breaks, break-out sessions or the informal after-meeting discussion.
Full of light and with a warm atmosphere, our rooms in SO/ Berlin Das Stue welcome you for your special day. Whether for a free wedding, the reception afterwards or the celebration as dinner, we look forward to arrange your day with you. Our wedding team will make your dreams come true so that you can simply enjoy your big day
Music belongs in every good place - that is why we regularly present the Stue Bar as a small, but fine place, where Live Music sets the tone and radiates a unique intimate atmosphere.
Enjoy the creations of our bar team in best accompaniment.
The Michelin-starred fine dining experience of Cinco by Paco Pérez offers Paco Pérez’s avant-garde molecular-leaning Mediterranean cuisine. This is his fifth Michelin star, having already received two for the restaurant 'Miramar' in his hometown Llança, and also two for the 'Enoteca' in the Hotel Arts Barcelona. Particularly impressive in Cinco are the avant-garde tasting menus- the "Gran Viaje" with 9 courses or the "Pequeno Viaje" with 5 courses. Each of the small treats is an experiment of products, textures, aromas and tastes, resulting in a remarkable, yet unexpected, impression.
Located on the ground floor, the bar and lounge overlook the zoo through expansive windows (by night, these are covered by a screen upon which vintage films are projected) and exude an intimate, living-roomlike atmosphere.
It features a trapezoidal bar in the rear zone and a large terrace. The credo here is classic bar culture. Juxtapositions and depth of texture appear everywhere: carpets offset traditional wood flooring, and pillars burn bright in copper.
The bar menu with a comprehensive selection of whiskey and vermuth invites you to try new flavours. Every second Friday we invite jazz and soul artists to perform at the Stue bar.
The Casual offers a laid back all-day dining experience. Here, Paco Pérez presents his own inventive take on tapas, celebrating the love of sharing dishes with friends - be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The creations are simple, but never simplistic, and prepared according to the rules of honest craftsmanship - no gimmicks or extravagant flourishes.
On warmer days, our terrace, tucked in our green courtyard, invites for a relaxing time and al-fresco dining.
Please fill this form for individuals or for groups and you shall receive an answer written by a live person at Das Stue Hotel. This is the only way you can know exactly what room types are available for the dates you want, and the best possible rate, because you are dealing directly with the hotel.
Bear in mind that websites set up to give an automatic answer, work with allocated quotas given by the hotel, therefore when it appears there are no rooms available for the date you want, this is not necessarily true, because they never allocate ALL the rooms to third parties.
Das Stue is located in Berlins central Tiergarten disctrict, right within the prestigious Embassy Quarter, adjacent to the 210 acre Tiergarten Park and literally facing the Berlin Zoo. Some of the most famous cultural institutions like the Culture Forum, the Philharmonic and the New National Gallery are only minutes away, and for the shopping enthusiasts, both Kurfürstendamm, with the legendary KaDeWe, and Friedrichstraße are within easy reach.
Also, Potsdamer Platz and Germany’s political centre with the Reichstag, the Chancellor’s Office and the President's office and residence, Schloss Bellevue is in close proximity.
From Tegel Airport (TXL) a cab ride will take about 15 minutes and cost approximately €20, while Schoenefeld Airport (SXF) is about 35 minutes away and costs about €45. Please be aware that there is more than one Drakestrasse in Berlin- so if coming by taxi or car, make sure to come to the Drakestrasse in Tiergarten.
If you come by train, Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) is 8 minutes by taxi, and Zoologischer Garten about 5 minutes. Both rides will cost ca. €10.
