 Built in 1904,
this Italian-style theatre, complete with sumptuous beige imitation stone
decor, seats 260 people. With its perfect acoustics, it has set the scene
for a highly reputed Chamber Music Festival over the past 48 years. The
theatre is also a cinema regularly presenting the best recent movies.
Performers of
world renown have played here and numerous budding musicians have
successfully started their brillant carreers here, including Gidon Kremer
and Perlmann, who followed on from Milstein and Stern,
