From Venice:
Get off the autostrada at exit Ferrara Nord. From Florence, get off at Ferrara-sud. Once in Ferrara, follow the signs to the center of the city “centro” and then the signs with the name of the hotel. Parking is free on the street
in front of the hotel. They will give you an ID card to put over the dashboard in case the police comes. This way the police knows the car belongs to someone staying at the hotel. This is normal in Ferrara, the same applies for restaurants.
