| We spent 3 glorious days in the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria for my 50th birthday and wished we´d had more time. We had a very luxurious room, overlooking the bay, with a spacious bath, and the housekeeping was immaculate. The only thing better than looking at the bay, was taking the ferry to Capri, and one only had to get on the elevator in the hotel to do so. Breakfast was fresh, a welcoming wake-up, with a wide variety of goodies and dining in the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria with the excellent service and cuisine offered was delightful. We toured Sorrento two days, and found the location of Excelsior Vittoria perfect for this also. But...like I said, wished we´d had more time.
