| "My wife and family spent a week at the hotel in Sept ´07. It was the finest hotel in terms of accommodations, service, parking, location, etc in my 30 + years of travel. The rooms were exactly what we had reserved, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the food excellent. Take advantage of their private beach facilities and the surrounding towns like Cinque Terre, Portofino and Rapallo, etc. Food and shopping in Santa Margherita was excellent and reasonably priced. I recommend a king size room with a balcony overlooking the Bay. This is a first class hotel that lived up to its reputation."
