| "We were very happy with Grand Hotel Timeo & Villa Flora. It is in a magnificent situation with views of both the sea and Mt. Etna. We had a very good sized bedroom with a view of both the sea and Mt. Etna, with a bathroom which was split either side of the entry hall into the bedroom. The breakfasts were good with a wide range of breakfast cereals, breads and all the other items that you would expect from a hotel in this category. The staff was very helpful.
There were only two problems and these are not the fault of the hotel but its situation. The hotel is difficult to find, which in part due to the fact that you have to cross a pedestrianised street to reach the hotel. The other problem is the parking, which again is due to the position of the hotel, and again is a difficult problem for the hotel to solve as there is just insufficient space and there were I think only 4 car parking spaces outside the hotel for all the guests.
You have a list of the 4 hotels in which we stayed in Sicily, from memory this was the least expensive, the best value, and one we would recommend without hesitation."

| "The Hotel Timeo was fantastic. Its location is stunning, right next to the ancient amphitheater and with incredible views of Mt. Etna and the sea. The service, the rooms, the food were all superlative. The price was very expensive for those of us using American dollars."
