| My wife and I are really picky travelers, and often make a game of finding things wrong with a hotel, but Alden Hotel Splugenschloss scored very high on our list, and it was difficult to find anything to fault about it, at all. This boutique hotel is fine tuned to everything one expects from professional services from the staff, to good housekeeping, to culinary delights of the highest quality. The only thing we might have changed, but this was just us, is the style of furniture, which was a bit on the modern side, but again, just our taste, and we have to admit, Alden Hotel Splugenschloss truly was professionally and luxuriously appointed, leaving nothing out. Superb location as well.
