| Superb in every way is about the only term that applies to San Clemente Palace. Away from the busy city on its own little island, San Clemente affords peace and serenity, yet very close to San Marco by shuttle, which is very prompt with scheduling and runs frequently. The decor in the rooms at San Clemente Palace is exceptional, and I can't think of anything one would want that doesn't exist in their room...at least ours had every amenity thought of with very efficient service to be sure we didn't need anything else. The marble bathrooms are nicely appointed as well, with full tub and separate shower. The San Clemente Palace's elegant restaurant overlooks the lagoon, and offered superb cuisine. Was a bit cool to take advantage of the lovely pool, sadly, but we had a lovely time.
