| We were looking for a hotel out of the main center of Dublin, but close enough to be able to walk to the shopping and main attractions, and were a bit leery of the Gresham Dublin Hotel, as it is said to be the oldest in Dublin, and didn´t want anything antiquated. Having decided to give it a try however, we were more than pleased with everything about it. This hotel has kept it´s history and charm, but updated and renovated extensively to keep guests, not only comfortable, but wanting to come back. Our room was spacious, luxurious and clean and the service couldn´t have been better. The Gresham Dublin Hotel offered several dining experiences, from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and light dinners to fine dining serving extraordinary Irish dishes to International flavors, and we liked the fact, although it was very elegant dining, we were comfortable not having to dress formally to enjoy it. The location was perfect for touring the many attractions in Dublin and we had a great 3 day get-a-away. I don´t think anywhere we chose to go was over a ten minute walk from the Gresham Dublin Hotel.
