Fira Palace was inaugurated in 1992, being then and for many years to
come, one the best hotels in Barcelona. Fira in Catalan means Fair and
this hotel was given that name because it is located near to Barcelona’s
Expo grounds. The Hotel Fira Palace includes a complete gymnasium at guests
disposal free of charge (with over 50 fitness machines, massages and
indoor pool) piano bar with live music every night and a lovely
restaurant that you will want to come back to, even if you are not
staying at the hotel. The hotel’s staff couldn’t be friendlier, always
at your disposal to assist you every way possible, from carrying your
luggage to making possible a wireless internet connection.
There
are 276 rooms in total, including 178 standard and 80 superior, most
providing 2 Queen–sized beds. In addition, 17 comfortable Suites and a
Presidential Suite offer truly over-sized luxury. All rooms have double
glazed windows with exterior views, air conditioning with individual
climate control.

museums, fine restaurants and either by metro or taxi, you can be in the
