An in-house Meeting Coordinator will coordinate all the hotel services provided
for your event. Coffee-breaks and lunches can also be served outdoors (weather
permitting on the hotel’s panoramic terrace facing the lake.
Business Facilities
Wireless in all meeting rooms, fax transmission, laptops, flipchart, screens,
overhead projectors, slide projectors are available at the hotel.
Any other high tech equipment is available on a rental basis. Grand Hotel

The Grand Hotel Majestic offers three lovely reception rooms for banquets and
cocktail receptions. All boast natural light and unforgettable panoramic views
of the Lake.

occasion -be it a lunch, a dinner, a gala dinner, a ceremony or an anniversary-. In addition entertainment can be provided. A Banqueting Manager will be on

Wedding Reception
The hotel offers a choice of several elegant reception rooms
with stunning views. The hotel’s expert banqueting staff
under the guidance of renowned chef Cesare franzoni is on
hand to propose a rich selection of menus guaranteed to
satisfy even the most discerning palates.
The Toscanini Room with its adjoining patio overlooking the
hotel’s enchanting gardens has a capacity of to 250 guests.
When combined with the hotel’s other splendid receptions
rooms, a total of 500 guests can be accommodated.

Cannero Riviera
Known for its very mild climate, this town boasts
Mediterranean-style vegetation: olive trees, cedars, lemon
trees and lovely mimosas to name a few.
It is also home to the Italian Society of Camelias. This
beautiful flower has almost become an institution on the
Lake.

Villa Taranto
In 1931 a Scotsman, Neil Boyd McEacharn dreamed to create
one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world. He
succeeded admirably and today thousands of different species
of plants imported from every corner of the globe are
artfully displayed against an equally striking backdrop of
the lake and surrounding mountains.

Madre
The very
first botanical gardens to be designed on Lake Maggiore. Of
incredible beauty, the harbors many species of plants and
flowering trees, not to mention exotic birds. An explosion
of colour and fragrance unique of its kind. The imposing
Borromeo Palace built in 1590 contains precious furnishing
and a permanent exhibition of antique puppet theatres.

Once home
to fisherman only, this lovely little medieval island is the
ideal place to relax, take in the magnificent views, get
away from it all and savour some delectable fresh local
fish. |

Home of
the beautiful baroque 17th century palace
belonging to the Borromeo family. Contains lovely furnishing
and some famous painting. One can visit the grottoes which
are curiously decorated with shells and stones. The gardens
boasting many rare plants are built to resemble decks on a
ship and are spectacular. The Island was mane after Prince
Carlo III Borromeo’s wife, Isabella d’Adda. |

Caterina del Sasso Ballaro
A 10th
century medieval monastery perched on the cliffs overlooking
the water. The views are simply breathtaking. The lake at
this particular point is at its most beautiful. The little
church with its 16th century frescoes is special.

Stresa
This Pearl of the Lake is now a famous centre for
conventions and offers splendid views of the Borromee
Islands. Home to the very popular Musical Weeks from July to
September. Two 18th century villas of interest are Villa

Rocca di Angera
The ancient town of Angera boasts this imposing medieval
fortress, one of the best preserved examples of its Kind.
Property of the Borromeo family since 1449, it houses a
famous doll museum with over 1000 pieces: dolls,
doll-houses, children’s books and clothing. |
