From Catania Airport:

• Drive out of the airport and continue straight onto the flyover, following the green signs "Autostrada A19 - A18" and hearing round to the left, down to a dual carriageway. Follow the sign for Siracusa which leads to the SS 114 road.

• Now proceed South to the SS 114 for approximately 43 Kms. until you reach Siracuse. Continue to follow it into Siracuse.
  

• At the first traffic lights, tum right in the direction of the white signs for the "Mercati Generali". Continue along this road for approx. 1 Km. and take a left turn into Via Elorina. Continue straight on for another Km., until you reach the roundabout called Piazzale Marconi.
  

• Cross over Piazzale Marconi into Via Malta on the left of the Banca Commerciale. Continue straight until you reach the waterside.
  

• Following the white sign for Ortigia, a diversion leads you straight over a temporary bridge onto the island. Turn right at the Darsena Restaurant and follow the road round to the left into Viale Mazzini. The Grand Hotel is on the left.
