The Wines:

Since the beginning, the Gran Hotel Conde Duque is linked to the good wines and the good food. The Hotel invests in two important Spanish wine cellars: Bodega Izadi in La Rioja and Bodega Finca Villacreces in Valladolid. The hotel also want to name the company Redex, well-known by its excellent asparagus and tasteful peppers.
From the wines you will be able to discover their deep colours, their different bouquets and to taste the elegant and well-balanced body while having a nice time in our Bar-Cafetería or enjoying a great lunch or dinner in La Vendimia restaurant.

La Vendimia Restaurant:
La Vendimia restaurant offers its clients, the best traditional cuisine with the special touch from its cook.
Its cosy and elegant decoration, gives a peaceful and relax atmosphere to the restaurant making a perfect place for working lunches or celebrations.
Terrina de foi de pato con frutos del bosque dish is one of the restaurant speciality. Also its extensive wine list.

Coffee-Bar:

The Bar-Cafeteria is placed at the reception floor and it is opened daily from 11.00 till 23.59 hrs.
The Bar-Cafeteria is the right place to set aside the daily routine. Enjoy yourself and choose among a big range of bears, aperitifs, whiskies, spirits and cocktails or even a cup of coffee or one of our sandwiches, in a pleasant atmosphere.
And always… the kindness and warmth of the staff.

The Tea Room:
For the tea lovers and its ritual, the Gran Hotel Conde Duque offers everyday, from 17.30hrs to 19.00 hrs, an extended selection of hot teas. More than 70 teas among the black, green, white and red ones, fruit mixtures and Mediterranean infusions.

You will be surprised by the original presentation: plates, cups and teapots depending on the tea country of origin, a wonderful selection of small cakes and canapés and the unforgettable live music of an harp (except on Wednesdays and Sundays).
The hotel does not forget the summer season and for its high temperatures, nothing better than one of our delicious cold teas, not so sophisticated as the hot ones but also very interesting to discover. Come and order a mint tea or sangria tea, a cherry tea, or the japonesa lime tea or why not… the peach one.

The Cocktails:

If you are looking for a relaxing time or if you are waiting for something or for someone, come and enjoy one of the cocktails in a peaceful and familiar atmosphere in our Bar-Cafeteria, everyday from 20.00 hrs.
Non alcoholic cocktails such us our Conde Duque light made with orange juice, pineapple and syrup of lime.
International cocktails such us the Gran Hotel made with Whisky, Benedictine, apple and pineapple juice and 2 drops of blue Curaçao.

The Gran Hotel Conde Duque is situated in the traditional and madrilenian district of Chamberí, in the quiet garden square of Plaza Conde Valle de Suchil, close to main streets such us: Alberto Aguilera, San Bernardo,Gran Vía, Princesa etc.

Due to its excellent situation in the centre of Madrid, many places are close and are easily accessible.
