area was declared a National Monument in 1997 due to the
presence of many preserved Gothic style buildings .
The mansions of the
Renaissance:
Visit the four beautiful palaces of the Renaissance
architecture Montehermoso, Villasuso, Escoriaza-Esquibel and
Bendaña.
The Baroque area:
Also interesting to visit due to the many important
buildings and Baroque sculptures and paintings.
The Towers:
In Vitoria Gasteiz there are four churches with towers
from where you can enjoy spactacular panoramic views.
