Hacienda Zorita opens its
doors in a unique place, a privileged site in the heart of Valle del
Duero, only 10 kms away from the monumental city of Salamanca to make
the dreams of every wine, gastronomy, culture and nature lover come
true. A singular monument that dates from 1328, recovered and
rehabilitating its majestic structure, completely built with rubblework
based on Stone of Villamayor, following the usual guidelines of
Salamanca’s noble architecture, to reconvert it into a wine warehouse
and wine hotel. The hotel includes a visitors center for the diffusion
of the quality wine culture. The Grand House lodges 22 cosy and warm
rooms and suites whose names evoke in all the cases its most illustrious
guest, Christopher Columbus, and his trip to the Americas (The Admiral,
The Pinta, The Niña, The Santa Maria, The Indias, San Salvador…). All
the rooms open their windows directly on the Tormes and the three
hectares park that surrounds the property. Separated from the Grand
House but within the own park are the Wine Lodges, 19 double rooms born
from the restoration of the old laborers lodges who cultivated the vines
and rye of the Hacienda. This is a place full of enchantments where
traveller decide if they want to enjoy the silence and tranquillity of
and old Dominicos hacienda or be participate of the variety of
activities of ecologic, gastronomic and cultural tourism that is
