What started as a small fishing village nearly 3000 years
ago, is nowadays a dynamic city and an important port on the Atlantic coast of
Spain.
One of the biggest attraction in the
city is the fisherman’s village known as Cimadevilla,
located on a peninsula that divides the port in half.
Its narrow streets and tall colourful buildings, attracts
thousands of tourists every year who feel transported in
time while walking among them.
The beach of San Lorenzo is also a place that should not be
missed. To walk by Muro and the beach of San Lorenzo offers
one of the most beautiful sea sights of all Asturias, and
the beach with a length of 1.550 metres and shaped like a
shell, is one of the most famous in this Principado of
Asturias.
