The
Hostal del Cardenal in Toledo is an enviable place. In real state it
is commonly said that the three most important things in a property
are: location, location, location. Sometimes this applies to certain
hotels, particularly those in cities with high tourist traffic such
as Toledo. The Hostal del Cardenal is just the pick of the lit
location wise, it is right on the city wall. The bedrooms are very
quiet and all equipped with individual air conditioning units as
well as heating, and there is am ample city free parking lot right
on front of the hotel. This property used to belong to a Cardinal,
the exuberant gardens at the front vouch for that. The hotel house
itself, is aft of some elegant steps at the back of the front garden.
The bedrooms are in the main ground floor and on the first floor (In
Europe what we call in America second floor, is to them first floor,
because they refer to our first, as the ground floor). The bedrooms
vary mainly in size and location, some have a window to beautiful
inner gardens and others to the front garden. Some bedrooms share a
threshold, ideal for a families. Decoration is not overwhelmingly
beautiful but it is okay and the price is quite reasonable,
specially taking into consideration that you are in Toledo, where
every hotel is practically full all the time! |
