Hotel
L'Albereta is a villa-hotel on a hill, between the Alps and Lake Iseo,
where great wines, golf and a feeling of home are born, here, and
precisely here, Gualtiero Marchesi has renewed his love for cooking. At
the L’Albereta, the starting point for excursions and art itineraries,
where the tradition of countryside holidays is renewed, an ancient,
simple and refined pleasure. Culture, cellars, character, courtesy,
personal commitment...a great deal and everything in Franciacorta, a
land famous for its vines, the Albereta is an ideal place for relaxation.
The fascination of its origins remains in its tranquil and discreet
rooms: an elegant country residence, where an ancient noble family spent
its summers. Here, warmth, eclecticism and modernity are added to its
impressive past. Airy Provencale decor alternates with period frescos
and decoration; nineteenth century fan-lights and inlays alternate with
pictures and floral compositions inspired by modern art. The care
dedicated to every detail is the fruit of careful and conservative
restoration work brought to the furnishings and the rooms. An
inscription in the Restaurant reads "Parva domus, magna quies" (great
quiet, in a small house): almost a warning followed to the letter and
put into practice in every detail, to guarantee guests’ great quiet in a
small, comfortable space. |
