The 41 rooms at l'Arcade all benefit from natural daylight but the absolute highlight of Hotel de l'Arcade is its location in a quiet back street of this lovely quartier and yet only a few steps away from the Madeleine and hence, close to lots of nice restaurants and shops.
The hotel is being fully renovated during 2008; they plan to do a floor per month, starting with the 4th floor and working their way up to the 6th floor and then floors 3rd through 1st. This renovation will include putting plasma TV and free wireless Internet access in all rooms, plus complete new furniture and new floors among other improvements.
The Hotel l’Arcade is owned by a Swiss family who have been hoteliers for three generations and is precisely because of their vast experience in the business, that after sensing the need many people have for an ambiance a bit more personal than the typical hotel room, the family acquired the property next door to the hotel where seven beautiful apartment suites will be finished by the end of 2008. All of which will be 35 to 40 mts2 (350 to 400 square feet), with a full kitchen, bedroom and living room with a sofa bed. The maximum capacity for these apartment suites will be three adults. Final price is not yet set but is expected to be no more than € 350 per day with full hotel service. Naturally prices can be lower for longer stays or during weekends.
