ALDEN Hotel
Splügenschloss,
under heritage protection, dates back to 1895 and was completely
refurbished in spring 2004 with the aim of
restoring its original splendour. The ALDEN Hotel Splügenschloss now
combines fin-de-siecle elegance with the high-tech comforts of today.
This 5-star boutique hotel comprises 10 junior suites and 12 spacious
suites. All suites offer the latest in comfort with a luxurious
interior retaining some of the original stucco work and parquet
floors. Each suite is made up of an individually decorated drawing
room, a generously sized bedroom and a spacious bathroom. The
bedrooms blend a homely elegance with the highest level of comfort.
The bathrooms all have a whirlpool, separate showers and separate
guest toilets.
The ALDEN Gourmet restaurant offers its culinary delights in a cozy and
romantic ambience. At lunchtime, the restaurant provides the perfect
setting for a quiet, stylish business meal. The ALDEN Bistro is ideal for
a snack break or a brief but comfortable lunch. Tables are also
available outdoors in summer. The ALDEN kitchen team headed by Alex
Seifermann provides traditional all homemade meals and local
