The new edition of the Hotel Walther! As part of the anniversary summer in 2017, we have given our Grand Hotel a makeover. The entrance, reception, lobby, corridor, bar, smokers lounge and two dining rooms will all be completely redesigned. The Walther hotels distinguishing characteristic values and qualities remain highlighted and will be newly-staged by innovative design, targeted architectural interventions and selected works of art. The careful #redesign of the ground floor brings tradition in-line with modern day, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed modern ambience.
Swiss pine, larch and cherry wood, warm colours and high-quality furnishings provide the décor in all of the rooms at the Hotel Walther. Some rooms are equipped with a balcony or terrace, bidet, bath or separate shower. All 57 rooms are non-smoking.
The Relais & Châteaux Hotel Walther offers 2 suites and 11 junior suites. All south-orientated suites have a balcony or terrace. The typical alpine woody smell provides an authentic atmosphere.

Unique in Europe: Immerse yourself in this atmosphere full of charm, something of a cross between Finnish sauna and a sanarium. In an igloo made of Andeer granite, the ceiling lights emit a wonderfully relaxing play of colours from rock crystals. The venue that once served as the meeting point for rugged mountaineers is today a firm favourite among our cheese-loving guests. Immerse yourself in a culinary journey of cheese Gletscher Fondue and Raclette, with specialities including Grisons barley soup or sausage salad in the decommissioned Diavolezza cable car cabin – complete with a view over the garden park.
