Can Boix
de Peramola, surrounded by nature, is situated in the heart of the
pre-Pyrenean ranges, where nature has created a unique landscape
inviting you to relax. To get to this place, you have to drive through
the mountains as if you were going to Andorra, coming from Barcelona for
instance. Along the way, unless you read about it, one would never
expect to find such a spectacular hotel. The building from the outside
doesn’t say much but wait until you get to your room. In the Can Boix de
Peramola are two buildings: main one and annex. If you can, try to get a
room in the annex. Although the rooms in the main building are simply
excellent, the ones in the annex are even better. All rooms are air-conditioned
and have private bathroom with Jacuzzi.
There are 41 rooms either Comfort (located in the Main Building) or
Grand Comfort (located in the Annex Building); the first ones feature
small balcony and the others a large terrace looking over the garden and
the valley. Fine rooms are not all Can Boix has to offer, the restaurant
is another highlight of the place, and they have 2 dining areas. The
nationally and internationally renowned cuisine of Can Boix de Peramola
is, today, one of the key features that have made this tourist complex a
place you must simply visit. The cuisine is complemented by a wide range
of some 400 wines and cavas, a mineral water list and an interesting
list of cigars. Biggest highlight of the Can Boix de Peramola is
management quality, the dedicate soul and heart to guests’ comfort. The
director is the grand-son of the founder and also the chef of the
hotel’s restaurant. |
