Of the myriad delights the
Côte d'Azur has to offer, the variety of its coast is one of them: long
strands of sand broken by inlets and rocky promontories sheltering
hidden coves. In this immensely popular corner of France, seclusion is
elusive but it does exist and Hotel Les Roches has found it in Lavandou
Bay amongst the cacti, umbrella pines and scented breezes. Hotel Les
Roches takes full advantage of its situation; as if an ocean liner, the
spacious rooms have a nautical theme and look across to the Iles d'Or
while the terraces descend one by one deck-like down to the waterfront
jetty. Many guest rooms are scattered around the estate linked by paths
that weave through the lush garden. Rich furnishings contrast with the
terra cotta and marble floors as the dancing light off the water brings
their colours to life. Dining has a flagship quality; where exciting
cuisine meets a dazzling ocean view. Or, enjoy a delicious seafood
barbecue on deck for lunch!
"The position of the hotel is unique, the service was perfect; the meal in the restaurant was very good, but the waiting time fo the single courses even for holidays rather long."
