Hotel NH Master was a former factory building which was converted into a hotel in 1989. Thus the location is rather advantageous, considering it is midway between Plaza Catalunya and Plaza Espana, the two main squares that somewhat limit the center of Barcelona. Plaza Catalunya is right downtown, where the Ramblas begin and run down towards the old port. Plaza Espana is in the upper part of the city on the border of the Ensanche. The Hotel NH Master is a three star property but with nothing to envy from a four star, situated not more than 15 or 20 minutes walking distance from either plaza.
The rooms of Hotel NH Master have nice wooden floors and are very comfortable, with all the amenities and something very important, no noise, specially if you ask for one of the rooms on the inside. What you will see out the window, will be several apartment buildings encircling a park, no street, no noise...so, Hotel NH Master is a good option in a big city as Barcelona.
