Built in 1895 the Hotel
Metropole has celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2005. This only
remaining hotel of the 19th century in Brussels is noticeable by the
quality of its service and its internal decoration. In fact, the main
entrance has been decorated in French renaissance style, the reception
hall in Empire style, some rooms in Art Deco style.
In April 2002, the Council of Monuments and Sites of Region of
Brussels-Capital has protected the Hotel Metropole's façade as well as
the ground floor.
The Hotel Metropole is marvelously well located right in the historical
center of the European capital, just a few steps away from the
"Grand-Place", the "Bourse" and the "Theatre de la Monnaie" and close to
the city's most exciting shopping thoroughfare of Brussels.
It features: a bar " Le 19ième ", a gastronomical restaurant " L'Alban
Chambon", Room Service 24 hours a day, 298 including 15 suites, and 22 fully equipped meeting rooms accommodating from 5 to 500 people.
Furthermore, the Café Métropole features an unique year-round heated
terrace. |
